1999
Over 40 dead and about 120 injured is, suitable radio station "Ekho Moskvy", the balance of the second bombardment against Yugoslavia launched by NATO aircraft. Total balance sheet of the first two attacks rises to 100 dead and over 350 injured.

The Treaty of Asuncion was signed by the presidents of Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay and was created the Southern Common Market, called "Mercosur". This allows free movement of goods, capital, services and people, starting with 1995, in a market without customs enclosure.
